WORK: Since the 1990s he’s produced and directed a number of short films, music videos, documentaries and commercials along with his works as an artist with numerous exhibitions and art installations in the Nordic
countries and abroad.

In 1999 he directed the first short film produced in Greenland. “Sinilluarit” (Goodnight) was screened at 27 international film festivals and won the audience award at the Far North Film Festival in 2000. It was later acquired by Canal+TV.

ABOUT: For his feature documentary directional debut SUMÉ – THE SOUND OF A REVOLUTION he and his creative partner Emile Peronard was awarded The Jane Glassco Award for an Emerging Filmmaker and The Cynthia Lickers-Sage Award for Emerging Talent at imagineNATIVE, 2014.
