Hanne was born and raised in Nuuk, and has a Cand.Mag. in Literature, Media and Language

On a daily basis, she works as a highschool teacher, where she teaches in Greenlandic grammar, litteratur, culture course and media course

She is also a documentarist and have made 3 documentaries, all during her masters degree in Literature, Media and Language

In 2018, she started working on “Beating Hearts”, a documentary about homeless people in Nuuk and in Denmark.

She has a company company called Amarok Productions, where she  primarily works with being a local fixer and producer, as well as helping with manuscripts and  guidelines in culture .
