Nuuk
With it’s 17,000 inhabitants, the capital of Nuuk is the biggest city in Greenland. The vibrant, urban city offers a wide variety of locations, from modern high-rises, to deep fjords and mountains just outside the city. Nuuk has a maritime-influenced tundra climate with cold, long, snowy winters and cool, short summers. Nuup Bussii provides public bus services throughout the town and has routes to the outlying districts of Nuussuaq and Qinngorput, as well as a shuttle service to the airport, and several well-functioning cab services that runs 24/7.
